Caramelised Pecans

Method

Place all the ingredients (except for pecans) in a saucepan and gently heat until melted.

Add the pecans and stir until they are fully coated in the liquid mixture.

Increase the heat and keep stirring the pecans until the coating starts to thicken and go tacky.

Tip the pecans onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread out the pecans. Leave to cool.

- 1 cup pecans

- 1 tsp coconut oil

- 1 tbsp coconut sugar

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- 1/4 tsp cinnamon/mixed spice

 

Such an amazing snack for when you have guests over... assuming you don't eat them all before your guests arrive!
